COUNTRY IN MOTION

“Country in Motion” speaks of the living movements of Country, the rivers, the tracks and pathways that flow across the land, connecting place and culture. The flowing lines here represent waterways weaving through Country, with them carrying life, stories and knowledge from one place to the next. The circles throughout the piece represent community, culture which remain connected to Country through the knowledge held within the land.

The movement of the piece reflects the rhythm of nature, water flowing after rain, people travelling across Country to new areas and the constant energy and power that Country holds.

It's a reminder that Country is never still. it is moving, breathing and connecting life through every mark it creates.
